My experience of this company couldnt have been worse. They shoukd not be able to call themselves a removal company they have a small luton van as their Largest vehicle. The men they are rude, happy to break your belongings by their bad handling and will take much more time than tbey should to do the job. Avoid Especially if you are a single woman who is an older adult or a woman who is disabled the attitude of the owner towards the disabled woman who pays a lot more money for a very poor service is unprintable. I also would avoid using this company with the recommendation of big yellow storage who are in the same place as this company has an office just off its carpark as they gave no idea nor do they care that loads4less staff and owner behave as if they dont have to follow the laws of the land and happy to lie to court officials in writing and in person and slander you whilst doing so. I had my paperwork changed subsequently to signing it online so they could change the contract to their advantage. Avoid this company and tell everyone else to avoid it as well.

I got a different company to take my belongings from storage to my house they couldnt believe this company was meant to be professional as they had never seen peoples belongings in such a state having been put in by what was meant to be a professional company with numerous items previously in working order prior to loads4less men moving them broken beyond use and stacked in such a way that it was likely they would topple - they asked me if it was a man and van or professional company id used to put the items in storage and were appalled when i told them that id used this company and my terrible experience with them. I was promised my items would be wrapped in plastic protection - they had nothing at all but a couple of old blankets which they wouldn't use anyway. They took 8 hours to do a job id had done before upon moving into the property which had included the packing of everything by a different company in 3 hours including taking some items to a different address first. They refused to do the video quote i requested as i was across the country at the time i also told them theyd need a huge removal lorry for all of my belongings at no time did they tell me they only had two vans the largest being a luton van the other being not much bigger inside as a transit van. I had even told them for the items they were meant to take from storage on the same day it had taken two luton vans to fill the storage unit and i had my flat which id already told them had a lot of stuff in and id told them that i hadnt finished packing so couldnt say how many boxes there would be hence me requestinb a video quote to be told that it wasnt their policy to do video quotes. The owner in the year plus before going to court says that has been changed but who knows as he was happy for his staff to lie on their statements for court and he was happy to lie about what was agreed in court apart from being discriminatory about disabled people and particularly myself in court and at length. This is obviously an issue for anyone who would want a company that acts in a way that deals with the public in line with the equality act law and not in a way that passes on and allows behaviour of their staff an attitude that is very bad but also illegal if you are disabled in any way. I cant emphasise enough how awful this company was to deal with frim the owner downwards. AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Move size: 1 Bedroom Flat Service cost: £6000

We recently paid them £96 to move a sofa 6 miles across the city, at an agreed time, due to the owner not wanting his staff working too late on a Friday. As this seemed completely fair, I arranged for the seller to rush home from work to be there earlier than planned, and I headed over to meet the driver. He arrived 45 minutes late, rang 3 times as couldn’t find the property as he hadn’t used a sat nav, then advised he’d been sent alone. To move a 207cm solid 3 seater sofa. After numerous calls to the office to get someone else out to help him, I was assured Adam, the owner, would be attending himself to help the driver, and so we advised we were going to head home due to being at the collection address for over an hour already. The original driver was apologetic and pleasant, albeit embarrassed for wasting our time, but I’m still utterly amused that he asked the seller and myself to help him lift it. Who pays £96 for delivery and collection of a 3 seater sofa to then be asked to help lift it themselves? Two ladies and a child?! Are they for real?

That doesn’t really warrant a complaint though, what does warrant a complaint is Adam collecting my property then refusing to deliver it is as it was “too late” and having “prior commitments”. He basically called me when I was almost home and said he wouldn’t be delivering it as “a man should’ve been at the property to help lift it”! He later corrected these comments after listening to the call and confirming his office said 2 men would attend, but still refused to deliver it the same day. When he says late he means 6pm, which is hardly late given the delays were down him and it would’ve taken 20 minutes to deliver it from the collection location.

During the call he was dismissive, rude, patronizing, and muted me when I was talking, responding with “finished?, when I stopped. An utter misogynist.

In short, he advised he would be taking the sofa back to his unit and leaving it there “until he could deliver it”, leaving me completely stranded, without a sofa, and wasting 3 hours of my evening. I advised him it was not acceptable as needed the sofa due to hosting a birthday party the next day, so he advised he couldn’t help me and left me to arrange to collect my own sofa from his yard the following morning, on the day of my Daughters birthday.

Luckily for him, Kate, who works in his office and is lovely, helped myself, my Mum, and my young Daughter move the sofa in to another van, so she could have her party. Adam should be ashamed of himself letting 3 ladies and a child do his work for him.

As someone whose business thrives on recommendations and word of mouth, I’m gobsmacked by Adam’s unprofessionalism and aggressive phone manner. As other reviews state, they’re only a good company if it all goes smoothly, otherwise you’ll come unstuck. Luckily for us we got a full refund, our property back, and thanks to Kate and some helpful neighbors the other end, a sofa in time for the party!

Please think twice before using this company.

Move size: Partial Move Service cost: £96

Only hire if time is not important to you and you don't mind it costing much more than quoted. We hired loads4less for a house move. We had to be out of the house by 12. The manager/owner came to the house himself to estimate the amount of stuff. Loads4less only had small Luton lorries. He missed by almost 2 of their lorries(est 2,real 4) meaning we were not out of the house until 4 hours after we should have been, since an extra round trip was required (charged by the hour despite it being their 'error'). We hired our own van to move the remainder since there would have been another extra trip involved. The people doing the move were nice, but one of three was a child and his output was noticeably low to the frustration of his coworkers. They finished moving stuff in about 10 pm.

Move size: 4+ Bedroom Home Service cost: £1800

Loads4Less damaged two of our items in transit and refuse to take responsibility. The movers were perfectly pleasant and we felt that they were a great bunch of people and felt safe in them moving our items. However, in transit they damaged our chest of drawers but we cannot be compensated for this due to them being from a flat-pack kit which we accepted. However, they damaged our £500 table in transit and are claiming that it was damaged prior to the move which it was not. They are lying about how the item was dismantled and collected prior to their arrival (saying the legs of the table were resting against the table which they were not, they were a distance away and wrapped in a blanket) so that they do not have having to pay for the damages. Whilst they claim in their T&C's that dismantled furniture is not covered under their insurance I clarified (and have the receipts) via message before taking out our move with them that dismantled furniture is still covered where there is damage to surfaces in transit and they said yes, it only didn't cover the items not being able to be put back together again. Despite having this IN WRITING from them they refuse to accept responsibility for this and this have left us out of pocket.

I would not recommend this company if this is how they handle complaints/damage made by them.

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: £1344

FANTASTIC! Low price, very fast, and great service, USE LOADS FOR LESS! We moved from a flat to a house with 2 children for the first time, very stressful for any family, making sure our personal items gets to the other end safely, but had no need to worry, loads4less made the stress go away, the service was amazing, very prompt. We even brought our removal from them aswell, we had enough boxes to move twice over at a great price. I would recommend loads4less to everybody, its cheap and friendly, you can't ask for more. GREAT!!

Service cost: £72

My son had a very large 3 seater sofa, which wasn't required further, to be removed from a smallish 2nd floor flat. There was a little manpower shortage difficulty initially which was sorted out quickly by the company.
The 2 removal men who undertook the job were exceptionally good and professional in extricating and manoeuvring the sofa around some very tight bends on the stairs and out of the front door of the block. At all times they were efficient, cheerful and helpful.

Service cost: £70

I would like to convey a huge thank you to the two guys who came to my address first thing this morning (to coincide with Norwich City Council), amidst wind and rain and an awkward flight of stairs, to transport a bulky sofa and a "near-derelict" Welsh Dresser outside, ready to be taken to the dump. I am so happy with the entire booking process, from having met with the colleagues of this company, who were extremely professional and welcoming throughout, and nothing was any trouble, and the fees for this service were much better and cheaper than I imagined; I definitely will remember this company now and for the future, particularly should a house move happen at any point in the near future. Fantastic and competitive rates that suit any budget.
